Mary Lou Lauria

Mary Lou has been working with industry and regulators for over 25 years to deliver sustainable development and optimize shared value outcomes for clients and communities across the globe. She specializes in the strategic development of environmental teams and the delivery of community communications, Indigenous groups’ participation, impact assessments, regulatory strategy, compliance, and monitoring programs. Mary Lou has extensive experience providing technical direction and oversight of permitting, environmental assessment, and ecological impact for many major projects across Canada. She has extensive experience in structuring and managing large Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment teams for industrial sectors in offshore, onshore, and remote locations. Mary Lou has provided strategic planning and regulatory advice to clients across Canada in support of their development planning and has extensive experience in delivering large Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessments. She has led numerous technical working groups, public open houses and delivered expert witness testimony as part of the Canadian Environmental Assessment process.
