Deanna Lewis, a member of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh people, embodies the roles of educator, entrepreneur, and cultural ambassador. As the Squamish Nation Owner of KC Kalkalilh Communications, she channels her ancestral name, Kalkalilh, to bridge cultures and communities. With four years of service on the Squamish Nation council, Deanna is also recognized for her expertise as a Cultural Awareness and Gender Safety Facilitator, alongside her creative pursuits as an artist. Deanna’s most important role is being a mother to 3 beautiful children and a Foster Parent.
