Mehdy Touil is an experienced LNG professional with more than two decades of expertise in the industry. Possessing a strong background in liquefaction and an intricate understanding of the sector, he has gained global recognition as a specialist in liquefaction operations. Throughout his journey, he has been involved with major natural gas projects across diverse regions, such as Algeria, Qatar, and most recently the Arctic on the world’s northernmost industrial facility, Yamal LNG.
He has over the years established himself as an influential figure in the LNG industry. He has amassed a substantial following of nearly 60,000 on LinkedIn, where he shares industry insights, encourages discussions, and keeps his audience up to date with the latest trends in the LNG sector.
Mehdy is a graduate of the Algerian Petroleum Institute of Arzew, specializing in LNG operations, and holds an MBA in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, UK.
